I hate college =(

It's so depressive - the building, the tutors, your fellow "students" even to an extent are.. idiots xD I really just, can't wait for this year to be over. Then I don't have to stay there anymore, and I don't have to put up with the crap from the tutors. I mean really, when we all applied for our loans this year, as per usual Saas paid the college £2,500 or there abouts for each students tuition... So, where'd that money go?
So far, the only thing the college seems to have provided is mount board and tacs to hang stuff on the wall. Chemicals, paper, printing costs, film, processing... everything so far has to be paid out of our own measly £180 a month =/ yeah... cause that makes sense.
And it's not even that anymore, I mean I'll not grumble at paying my way through college - at the end of the day it's me that wants my HND so I'll do what I can to get it.. but the tutors don't even bother teaching you anything. It's a matter of handing out a few sheets of paper, saying read it and expecting us to go off and "try" it to see what happens - uh huh... cause we can afford to go "trying" everything without someone with experience there to stop us wasting paper that costs like £8 for 12 sheets.

Bahh! Stick it out - it's only a few more months. What's a few more months to the previous 3 years lol.
I really miss the old college though - the old class where we somehow miraculously managed to get our work done without really realizing we'd been working, where the tutors actually joined in with the jokes and you wanted to actually get up in the morning and go to college as opposed to wanting to smash your alarm for reminding you you've got college today.

From the first year of college - and I'm sure that this was only litterally a few months into the course... and this is exactly why I miss the place - not because we appear to be sitting around doing absolutely nothing wasting tax payers money (honestly we weren't wasting time - it was just after lunch and we'd been to the pub... We did get back to work about 5minutes later!)

Parka Appreciation!

Wayhey for student pennies! Literally pennies though xD haha! But, one thing I'm purchasing with my new found wealth is my Parka tickets for May
Can't wait to see them again! Absolutely adore parka =3 they'll do Scotland proud xD haha

Haw yes! I was that close to the front! xD Damn right. I ended up talking to some fella who's apparently in the appletini's (apparently they're on myspace) who was causing so much shaking on the camera =/ but when you're /in/ the crowd near the front you expect that - heck you're lucky if you can stand up on your own at all - it's more a group movement lol
As Eleanor found out when I dragged her to the front of a Muse gig.... Mmm.

But aye!!! I remember when we first found Parka. Random as ya like. Me & Eleanor, driving to college one morning listening to Xfm as normal - they announced that the winter wonderland tickets were going on sale at 9am... naturally, we were running late and stuck in traffic so I dunno... We'd just been paid, we wanted to do something and the Stereophonics & the Twang were gonna be playing - xD I'm so sold!
So we got the tickets and Parka were one of the bands playing there - they're playing Better Anyway. =D ain't they so cute standing there with their acoustic set and a hugeeee audience xDDD Aww!


They gave it their all though and they're brilliant - One Sherbet was immediately in love <3
Ooh also! Must go to a Glasvegas gig =3 They've been pretty popular on the radio, and I think they'll be pretty big soon so I wanna get a smaller more intermediate gig - the sooner the better! xD I just love how they sing and don't lose the Scottish accent - Genius!
